March 3, 2013 was Van's blessing day.
He was dressed in white from head to toe,
looking like a cute little English boy from the 20s.
We wrapped him in a warm white blanket from Grandma,
and the men in our family stood in a circle to give him a blessing.
Daddy said some meaningful words of things we hope
our little Van to accomplish in this life and the life hereafter.
After church we went home for some soup and salad in our new house.
Did I mention we moved? From a north end bungalow to a 60s cottage.
We will be here until the end of July. Then what? You'll see!
