Elk Creek

Drew and I snuck away from the rest of the gang to go fishing just before sunset. It was during the salmon run at the time so the fish weren't biting and there were dead salmon everywhere, but the views were incredible. I love how Drew always takes Van fishing with him on his back. Van can recognize a fly and his face lights up whenever we catch a "pout pout fish". Some of my favorite memories with my family are made fishing rivers like this and enjoying the outdoors together.
