Girls Weekend

It was girls weekend (yay!) and we went to McCall to stay at the Dame's cabin. We painted nails, celebrated Darlene's birthday, ate at the Pancake House, ate ice-cream at Ice-Cream Alley (so good), swam in the lake, explored, and when we discovered Van doesn't like to share the bath tub. We had a blast just hanging out and talking into the wee hours of the night about adolescence and life lessons. Definitely a must needed weekend for all of us! And somehow we all fit in one car too, even with the babies. So thankful to Darlene for always offering anything she has with her friends, love you Dar!

Summer is nearing its end and I still can't believe it. I feel like it is just starting. We've been so busy, the fair already happened, and kids are going back to school. I'm starting to feel a tinge of anxiety so I think I'll just get out of town for the weekend and go camping. I can use another fun weekend like this. Also, thank you Lorraine for taking the photos!
