We headed to the Owyhees in Oregon to go camping and fishing. Drew has caught some of his best fish in this river, and dreams about it at night. The fish were spawning so they weren't biting, but it was crazy to see so many splashing around. It's always nice to get out and enjoy the views with some good peace and quiet.
At first I was a little concerned how to camp with a crawling baby. After some research I realized it doesn't matter, just let your baby get dirty. So we let Van crawl around and explore the camp site on his hands and knees. We packed an extra outfit for him to change into after he was done playing. At this age he is so mobile there's no stopping him. His favorite word is "ball" and he entertained himself quite well with small stones shaped like balls.
Just before sunset we went to some natural hot springs nearby and watched the sun go down and the moon fill the sky. It was beautiful. That night we ate dinner around the campfire and discussed business plans among other things. Nothing bonds the family like some fun exploring and camp trips.

What an amazing trip, looks so peaceful and relaxing!
