In Van's first year I learned what it means to be a mom. I learned some hard lessons and made some great memories. I have become a more mature and selfless version of myself. I love watching Van grow and feel so blessed to be his mom.
At 1 year old Van weighs 22 pounds, has 6 teeth, and he is known to be fickle. His favorite toy is the cylinder shaped wood block and he will steal your heart every time he smiles. I will always look back on how small he was and miss those quiet precious moments we shared in his first year. Now I get to look forward to having a crazy toddler, and I am just as happy as the day he was born.
I cannot believe he is a year old already! Time flies in blogland.
