this year i was so excited to celebrate my first halloween as a family. in the past years i always imagined how fun it would be to have a baby to celebrate the holidays with, and let me tell you--it really is waaaaay more fun.
the day before halloween we went trunk or treating with my nieces and nephews. kylie and i dressed as sister witches, and we made a few rounds using the kids as an excuse for candy. i held van in one arm and his pumpkin in my other and who could resist a nine month old guppy with big blue eyes to match. first timer trick or treaters are the best.
van is growing so fast and even has a few teeth starting to show. when i see pictures of him sitting on my hip i still can't believe i am a mom. he makes me want to have ten babies. just think of the costumes i can come up with!
