Washington.

Drew grew up in a place called Poulsbo, Washington. He was more into sea kayaking than surfing since the beach was a few hours away. He surfed for his very first time in Westport, Washington and always wanted to take me there. He finally did for my 25th birthday present.
Westport is a small fisherman's town where you might stumble upon the occasional surf bum. The sound of fog horns pulse through the streets that seem to put everybody to sleep. I sort of love its nautical charm, despite the lingering thought of what little there is to do.
We explored the sandy beaches covered in crabs and drift wood huts. We hiked through the grassy coastline and surfed during the day. Nobody was there to bother us. It was as if we were the only visitors in all of Westport.
