As you can see, Van is eating vegetables now. He's getting chubby, yay! Those cheeks about kill me. We have made several trips to the family cabin this summer for camping and a change of scenery. Our view is unbeatable. I am convinced we have the best lot on west mountain.
There were a lot of mosquitoes out so I covered Van up and patted his cheeks with bug spray. We sat around the camp table and ate our dinner, while Jimmy waited patiently for scraps to fall. He has adjusted to the family life quite well and loves watching over his baby brother.
The next day we went to the river for a fun surf session. I sat in the shade with Van and watched Drew surf for a few hours. Van snoozed under his cute little sunglasses while I took occasional dips in the river to cool off. We love our summer weekends together!

wow so much goodness in one post. i LOVE our cabin, gosh i miss it. what a gorgeous view. van is so cute and chubbers and so proud of him for eating his veggies. and drew looks like hes good at river surfing, he must teach chase! so fun, cant wait to be together soon.
