i love love love being a mom. it is so fun watching van grow. he makes the funniest noises, and we have several nicknames for him. our current faves are lizard man and sir kicks-a-lot. he loves to stick out his tongue and he is discovering his feet. man, i have a feeling this boy is gonna be a trouble maker!
i was so excited to see what my first mother's day would be like. all i really wanted was to spend time with my boys, all day. i love having them all to myself. you would think i'd get sick of them, but i don't! it's kind of amazing how much i love them.
drew spoiled me with my favorites; crepes for breakfast, spaghetti for dinner, and muddy buddies for dessert. he even let me have my very own shopping spree at h&m the day before and i picked out a summer dress and tunic. drew knows the way straight to my heart!
mother's day was a beautiful day. i wish everyday was mother's day.
