This year I got to re-live the excitement of Easter through my cute little nieces Bennett, Madelyn, and Harper. I loved the way their faces lit up when they spotted an egg. They still need a little guidance, but they are getting old enough to figure it out on their own. Harper seems a bit clueless to be honest, Madelyn is competitive, and Bennett wants to do it all on her own. When the hunt was over I helped them empty their eggs and hide their goodies from Uncle Drew. He is such a tease!
We ate dinner with family and spent the weekend at mom and dads eating and relaxing. I made a bunny cake, but am too embarrassed to show you because I messed something up! It still tasted good. Sunday little Josie got blessed and wore a beautiful white crochet dress. I love being around all these little people, kissing their cheekies, and sharing candy. They are starting to know me as "Aunt May" and Drew as "Aunt Drew". Harper's still figuring it out. Hope you all had a Happy Easter!
