st. patrick's day weekend

on st. patrick's day i woke up to a cute hub in a green hoody pinching me! i quickly crawled out of bed and put on my only green t-shirt to stop the mayhem. we didn't have any special plans really, but we did dye our food green!

we had green pancakes and eggs for breakfast.

 jimmy got a few green treats for breakfast too!

we made sure jimmy was wearing green too!

 green gourmet mac and cheese for dinner!

 on sunday we had a family dinner in caldwell and i made these cute little rainbow cupcakes.

 my sister in law megan made irish soda bread! she died one loaf green.

 almost everybody in the family was wearing green, even cute little peter!

 grandma fly made a delicious green jello salad.

 mama made yummy green mashed potatoes! 

 jedd and katrina brought sprite died green, it was pretty.

 we had irish corn beef and cabbage for dinner.

 i also got to see my sweet little niece josie all dressed in green.

we missed you chase and meg, ky and spence, and lis and chase! now easter is coming up and cadbury eggs are calling my name. today is the first day of spring and it's snowing outside. guess that makes it a good day to drink a cup of hot chocolate and crochet a jelly bean ducky for my easter collection. i'll show you my easter/spring collection soon!
