girls night with mama

what i love most about living in boise near family,

is that i get them all to myself!

growing up i had to fight for attention.

i was always competing with the voices of my triplet sisters and we tend to talk at the same time.

i'm not that competitive, so i usually let them win until a quiet moment came.

or i would just yell until someone started listening to me, that worked too.

but now, i am the only sister around so i get to know my family on a more personal level.

i appreciate the phone calls i get from a concerned brother,

or a spontaneous lunch date with my poppio.

and the nights i get one on one time with my mama.

this week we met for dinner and proceeded home to watch women's conference.

i'm going to be honest now, we didn't listen very well.

we spent most of our time giggling and playing on pinterest.

i made mama an account so she can pin all her teacher-y ideas.

it wasn't until president uchtdorf spoke that we really started to listen.

and then we went back to "pinning."

i may not always get to be around my sisters, but i always have my other best friend...
