4th of July

for the fourth of july weekend we went to my family's cabin in cascade.
we camped in our tent with cute jimmy, and he was a real good boy.
except for the two dog fights he got in. one we are keeping on the dl (naughty neighbor dog).
jimmy is social and likes to sniff strangers bums, and sometimes that gets him into trouble.
my brothers say he is socially awkward. you know, like that one guy who wants to be everybody's friend.
i still love him.
we also spent time around the campfire, eating muddy buddies, riding four wheelers, swimming, celebrating my dad's birthday, going to the parade, watching fireworks, playing with cute cousins and nieces- the usual!
i am so thankful to my grandparents for providing us this lovely cabin to share and create memories with our family members.
even though they are getting old and forgetful, we still love sitting around and raising our voices so grandpa can hear.
good ol' family reunions.

that's not all.
when we got home from cascade we stumbled upon boise's fourth of july parade!
we rode our bikes around downtown and spent the evening under the sky people watching and listening to live music.
how can i forget cowboy in boardshorts or hormonal teens groping each other?
once it grew dark boise put on a legit fireworks show.
blew cascade's out of the water. sorry cascade. your parade was better though.
