I'm it!

I have been tagged by my sister Kylie to answer some questions about myself I guess. I used to do these when I was in middle school, you know, when chain letters were really cool. So here's a sneak peak to my life as a couch potato.

4 shows I watch:

1) Modern Family: Funniest show ever. I love all the characters, especially Phil. It is Drew's life goal to be just like Phil.
2) Rob and Big: Rob Dyrdek has got to be the funniest dude alive! Seriously, he has the whole package. He is smart, successful, loving, funny, charitable, optimistic and polite. Let's just say I have seen every episode and have grown to appreciate the kind of person he is.
3) That 70s Show: I still watch back to back episodes even if I've seen them already. I love everything about the 70s; the colors, the music, the style, you name it.
4) International House Hunters: I used to think it was so strange that my parents actually enjoyed driving around staring at houses for date night. Well, now I can see why. I love watching international house hunters! It makes me excited to have a house someday and decorate how I'd like and paint the walls bright fun colors. I also would love to have a home abroad.

4 things I'm passionate about:

1) Family: Family is definitely my number one. Maybe passionate wouldn't be the right word, but to me that means loving something a whole lot. And whenever I am with my husband, family, or Drew's family I am one happy camper.
2) Peace, love, and happiness: I am so fascinated by what makes a person happy, what love means to someone, and how to be a truly peaceful and mindful individual. These things all go hand in hand to live a fulfilling life.
3) Open minds: I feel like I'm supposed to say something like skiing or crocheting here, but as much as I love to do those things I don't think those things define me. I love nothing more than an intelligent, open minded, heart to heart discussion with someone because to me that is the only way we can truly understand someone before passing judgment.
4) Traveling: The world is huge and offers so many valuable lessons. I hope to always incorporate those learning experiences in my life.

4 phrases I say a lot:

1) Dude.
2) No way jose!
3) I love you.
4) Get real.

4 things I have learned from the past:

1) Choosing doesn't limit choices, it just changes them.
2) We are always learning and evolving and growing, don't expect to get answers all at once.
3) More often than not, what you think is abnormal is in fact very normal.
4) Don't dwell on the past, don't worry about the future, and embrace the present.

4 things I did yesterday:

1) Hung out with a cute puppy all day.
2) Crocheted a cell phone case.
3) Went to Sammy's with friends and ate a delicious milk shake, then went to see Easy A.
4) Showered and made a nest of a bun on the top of my head.

4 places I would love to visit:

1) Ching chong CHINA: I want to see a marshmellow baby.
2) Indonesia: I want to ride a bicycle with a bell and a basket down a dirt road surrounded by rice patties.
3) India: I want to wear comfy flowy colorful clothes, paint a third eye on my forehead, master true mindfulness, and do yoga with the pros.
4) France: I've always dreamed about visiting France with my sisters and mama to see family and eat lots of crepes.

4 things I'm looking forward to:

1) Moving to Hawaii... duh.
2) Christmas.
3) Getting a puppy.
4) Making cute babies.

4 things I love about winter:

1) Snow and skiing.
2) Bright Christmas lights that make me cheerful.
3) Snuggling and drinking hot chocolate and wearing cozy things.
4) Holiday spirit and setting new goals.

So now it's your turn! Tag, you're it!
1) Chelsey Heidorn
2) Katie Mumm
3) Pierina Stutz
4) Ali Snarr

  3. Hi, I am so happy that you want to go to Indonesia. In fact, you should! My American husband and I went to Bali-Gili Air and Nusa Lembongan for a two weeks honeymoon last June, and he had a GREAT time. He learned how to dive, we did a lot of snorkeling, and you can go surfing for sure. Good food, good view, friendly people are there as well :D
