So far this fall I've done all my favorite things...
Long walks.
Hot chocolate.
Haunted house.
Pumpkins.
Cuddling.
Scary movies.
Soccer games.
Soccer games.
Farmer's market.
Autumn smells.
Crochet.
Sew.
Bake.
Ahhh.... I could be happy if it was always fall. I love all the colors and for some reason it makes me feel creative and crafty.
Earlier this week we had Kendra over, Drew's sister, and we baked yummy Halloween shaped sugar cookies and watched a scary movie (Secrets in the Walls)! Drew kept trying to throw in Christmas trees and Easter bunnies, it was driving me crazy I hate when holidays get mixed up.
Scary movies with the Hollenbacks are hilarious. I looked down the couch and all three of us had our eyes closed or phones in hand to distract us from being scared. Drew even did the half eye covered method to block the scary part of the screen. It was so funny! He hates jumpy stuff, but I think he's just as much a wuss as me. Only difference is I'm still scared long after the movie is over.
We had Kendra over again to carve pumpkins last night. We weren't feeling very spooky so we made happy pumpkins.
Kendra loves elephants, and I like Hawaii... wonder why?
And to top off the fall that is quickly ending and turning into winter here in Rexburg, this weekend we're having a couples Halloween party! You'll have to wait and see what me and Drew came up with for this year...
i know why! because I LIVE HERE!!!! what movie were you watching? haha i love you guys
ReplyDeleteI used to LOVE scary movies but the older I get the less I enjoy being frightened. I think it also has to do with the fact that scary movies are so much more realistic now, like that could happen to you. And they're just gory! I'm not a huge fan of a man sawing off his own leg to escape some psycho.
ReplyDeleteI love your pumpkins! So creative. We haven't carved yet...hopefully tonight. And I also love fall, especially when it lasts a long time like it has this year. Can't wait to see what you'll be for Halloween! Harper is going to be a skunk. ;)
ReplyDeleteKay, I don't know what the deal is, but I have turned into the BIGGEST wuss when it comes to scary movies now. All growing up I was the one of my friends that LOVED scary movies and never got freaked out... and now with this whole "Fear Fest" that's been on TV with all the old stupid scary movies, I get SO SCARED! Hahaha. We were watching one of the Halloween movies the other night and when the scary guy would chase someone I had to go into the kitchen and wash dishes and have Brady tell me what happened! Hahahahaha. I'M SUCH A PANSY NOW! Do you guys own that Secrets In The Walls movie? I kinda wanna borrow it!
ReplyDeletei love this post. i love the fall too. sounds like all wonderful fun things sis! hilarious bout the scary movie hahaha. love you angel!! you are so talented, it amazes me :) wish i were more like you!!
