Great Faces. Great Places.

For Drew's birthday we headed to Mt. Rushmore with our friends Tanner and Darlene. We ate at Bubba's in Jackson Hole and I got him a couple woks (for cooking Chinese food) and a new wedding ring that's blingin'! That night we camped in a random oil field in Wyoming and Drew stepped on a cactus.
This is in Wyoming when we saw the first animals on our road trip!
 The famous giant jackalope.
We drove through Nebraska to get to South Dakota. I was a little upset when we crossed the boarder seeing a Nebraska sign and not South Dakota, but the boys were just joking about being lost. Got me! Apparently I need to study a map.
South Dakota
Say hello to Mr. Presidents!
Cute faces.
Everybody in South Dakota seems to have something rusty in their yard.
We saw more of this than people I think.
We camped for free every night and had foil dinners one night, my favorite! We played campfire games and all cuddled in the same tent.
Playing with light.
Love in the air!
Friendly buffalo.
I love this picture. We also visited the Wind Caves museum and ate at a Chinese buffet. On Sunday we decided to go to church, but couldn't find a Mormon church so we went to the Catholic church. We really enjoyed the hymns and getting peace signs thrown at us from cute old ladies. "Come dance in the forest, come play in the fields!"
This was the closest we got to a shower. Spent some time in the sun finally! We ate some ice-cream after and then found a camp spot on our way home in Casper, Wyoming.
The only thing I really took pictures of there was this little mushroom. The next day we drove home all day and came home a little greasier and stinkier! Yay for showers! It always feels so good to come home from vacation. Thank you Drew for being the best hub and friend to me ever, hope you had a happy birthday. And thank you veterans for serving and dying for our country.
XOXO
