I just have to say,
I LOVE MY MAJOR!
I love psychology. I love my classes. I love my teachers. I love what I'm learning. I'm so interested. I'm so curious about the power of the mind. I love learning about what makes us all different from one another. I simply just love to understand others!
I definitely chose the right major in the beginning of my college career without a clue what I wanted to do. I am graduating in July and I still can't say what I want to do exactly, but at least I know I love it and I still want to help people in some small way that makes a big difference. Up to my last semester all my classes have piled on top of one another beautifully. I actually recall things I've learned in the past and it helps me in my classes now. I am so happy I have been able to go to college or else I would have missed out on all this learning that makes me a better and more competent person.
I really can't wait to explore and see more of the world. There is so much for us to learn from other cultures and people different than us. There is no us and them, we are them and they are us.

yes yes yes i love this! it's all about empowerment! that's why i'm studying what i'm studying--it's so awesome! let's talk intellect sometime! LOVE YOU SMART GIRL! glad you're so happy :)
ReplyDeleteI was totally ready for you to say something like "PSYCH!" as in "fooled you!" at the end of this post because of the title....BUT then I realized that you were saying Psych as in your major. confusion fail = mb
ReplyDeletePsychology is pretty cool eh? After my psych class last fall I found it quite interesting the way people think and act the way they do - so cool! Not my major... but still so interesting. Glad you've found something you love! You graduate this year? LUCKY! I feel like I still have so much ahead of me. 3 or 4 semesters at BYUI... then perhaps a couple years in another program wherever Brady and I end up. School seems never ending to both of us right now :( Soo lucky for you you can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel! And SO true about the last statement on your blog - about there not being Us and Them. I love it! So true!
