These two cute people, the Skidmores, took us snowmobiling last weekend and let us stay at their cabin in Island Park. It was so much fun! It was Drew's first time going, but he's basically an expert now.
We spent the weekend relaxing next to the fire, eating lots, watching the x-games, movies, and the boys play the Wii. I was thinking.... Erin has reached the expert mommy meal level! We all know how good mom makes things, and she has definitely made it. The meals all weekend were delicious! I tried to help in the kitchen but I just don't think I'm at her level yet.
We stopped at a bridge to look at the big ol' fishies swim, trout I think. People feed them so they're always there. This time we saw a couple muskrats too! We thought they were beavers, but muskrats are still cool.
Perfect and very much needed weekend.
Yep, we'd do it again.

ReplyDeleteoh megan, you are far too kind!! we should most def. do it again! or go camping in the spring! my cooking is not near as good over a fire though :)haha. we should get together soooon!
