So this semester is MUCH crazier than last semester for us! Every day is an early morning. I'll be doing lots of reading, research and sewing. Drew will be doing lots of group meetings and IBC (Integrated Business Core) stuff. This week he is going to be gone at Badger Creek for a few days with the IBC. I know I am 21, but when he's not around I feel like a 12 year old girl who is afraid of the dark. Which I am... but that's besides the point. Life without him is no fun.
I am also learning how to drive stick shift finally! The great motivation being Drew will be gone this week so I have to learn how to drive myself to school and back. I feel like a 15 year old again, but I need more practice and don't think there's enough time before I feel ready to drive by myself without Drew helping me. So it looks like this week I will be either walking all the way to school in the freezing cold or riding my bike in the snow.
Lately, our days are spent playing endless hours of the Wii and Star Wars, school, net flix, and skiing. Drew likes to read Ayn Rand he can't seem to put her books down. We also got called as nursery leaders so if you have any tips for us let us know! I really wish we could get in on the snack time I love gold fish. Is there an unwritten rule about leaders not being able to eat snacks too?
This weekend we went skiing at Targhee. The day was great until on our last run I went off a jump doing a lame-o 180 and apparently landed wrong, so I ended up breaking both my bindings and the brakes completely off. Real bummer.
Our ONE YEAR anniversary is coming up, isn't that CRAZY? I'm so excited though time really does fly when you're in love with your best friend. Drew is so dang sweet to me. He says and does the funniest things.
Well, that's the boring latest... but we're so thankful for our wonderful life despite its imperfections. And let me tell ya, I am SO thankful we live in this generation! Can't wait to see how cool 2010 will be.
