Easter this year my heart was in two places. With Liv in the NICU and Van at home. I was so excited to give Liv her first Easter basket. I know she didn't need anything, but I needed to do something to feel like I was near her on her first Easter. It was the highlight of my day to come into her room and see tiny little bunny ears peaking out of her blanket. She brought a smile on to all the nurses faces that day too. That's my little Liv, always making people happy.
After our visit to see Liv we went to Jerome to have our annual family Easter egg hunt. Van is at such a fun age he was so excited to find the eggs and collect as many as he could. We can't wait for next year when he and Liv can celebrate Easter together!
