View from our bungalow. Cerritos Beach was a short five minute walk from us!
We found a private beach to watch the sunset.
My Easter egg belly ;)
Drew trying to convince me to name our baby Sage by writing it in the sand, haha.
See the cloud people? Looks like they're sitting down watching the sunset, too.
We got to go to Mexico for our babymoon! Nana watched Van while we went to a small surf town in Baja called Pescadero and then Cabos San Lucas for a little more pampering at a beach resort. My favorite part of the trip was definitely Baja Mexico!
At first I was really missing Van. I couldn't stop thinking about him and what he might be doing and what he was eating and all these silly mom things, and by the third day I decided to turn off my phone and really check out from the world. This helped me enjoy our vacation and not worry about anything else. I knew Van was in good hands and I knew I took this time away from home for a good reason, not just because I missed traveling. It was so nice to spend one on one time again with Drew. It was more romantic than I expected and it really felt like a second honeymoon!
We relaxed in our bungalow, ate breakfast on the porch or roof deck, lunch on the beach, and dinner at local restaurants, watched the sunset every night from a different beach or lookout, and Drew surfed during the day while I dug a hole in the sand to stick my 28 weeks pregnant belly in. I hit my third trimester while we were away, which was pushing it. We got sunburned despite our many layers of sunscreen and we came home with beautiful tans that didn't last nearly long enough.

you look so good pregnant! how fun that you got this time together before your craziness happened!
