Vanventure: Surf

This week we're going for a little vanventure! If you haven't heard of this newly coined term, it is a clever combo of "vw van" and "adventure". I will be posting each day this week about the highlights of our trip back in July. Today we surf.

This summer we took Burt on a road trip to the Oregon coast with Spencer and Kylie. We surfed and we camped, and we did fun things; but mostly we just showed Van how cool the ocean is. He sat up for his very first time at the beach, right by that very log up ^^ there. Shortly after he face planted into the sand, but I was still so proud.  

Now I realize there aren't very many photos of us actually surfing, but that's because I was busy on the beach doing my mama thing. Every time Drew would come out of the water he ran straight to Van to give him a big salty beard kiss. Surfing the Oregon coast is always fun and it's always worth the drive, despite what the surf report says.
