family pictures

i can't get enough of my family. we have the most fun together. van loves when drew tickles him with his beard and when he shows him off like some sort of balancing act. he especially loves sticking out his tongue! whenever we do it he can't help but copy us. these are some of my favorite pictures, ever.

my sister, kylie, took these lovely photos of us while we were in oregon for our family reunion this summer. i have been super slow about updating my blog, but i can't decide which one to frame. i will probably have to do a series. she is one seriously talented girl!

i tried the "milk maid braids" for the first time ever this day--which probably wasn't wise for a photo shoot. i'm not sure i can pull them off since my hair is so thick, but it was nice to have it off my neck and tucked away to avoid frizzy beach hair.
