i found this men's shirt at forever 21 and fell in love with the leather pocket. it was just a boring crew neck and i wanted to feel like a lady wearing it. after a few simple alterations i turned a men's tee into a women's tee in only 15 minutes!
supplies:
sewing machine
matching thread
sewing scissors
measuring tape
iron/ironing board
note:
remember to iron seams flat before sewing
measure arm hole before cutting sleeves (mine is 8" around)
leave original hem and original seams at the armpit
fold and iron neck seam inside before sewing
*optional- take in the sides a couple inches if too boxy
so there you have it! i told you it was easy! the reconstructed shirt still has that boyfriend bagginess with a scoop neck and dolman sleeves. the dolman style sleeve is just wider at the armpit and narrow around the arm. i like the way it fits because it is feminine and loose where i get hot! this shirt is the perfect go-to shirt. now you can invade your man's closet for a fun makeover!

wow, make me over one hehe!! AMAZING i am in love with that shirt
