hello, baby peach



my baby is a peach! i remember when i first found out i was pregnant it was the size of a cinnamon gummy bear. i went to the store that day and bought a bag of them to celebrate! i don't really have a baby bump yet, rather i look like i ate too much.

i have this handy iphone app that tells me which fruit my baby size is. it even tells me daily actions like buy fancy lotion for stretch marks and a pregnancy pillow for sleeping. today i was told to book a luxury pamper day with a girlfriend! yea, i like this app! it's called pregnancy if you're wondering. i think a "pregnancy must haves" post is in the making, friends!

i am currently 13 weeks in my second trimester. so far i've been feeling pretty good! i've seen my baby wiggle (ultrasound) and heard its little heart beat. this may all start sounding boring to you, but when it's your own baby- man everything is so amazing!

and let me tell you, i plan on being real here with this whole pregnancy thing. if something weird happens like i poop my pants- i'll tell you about it! don't worry, i won't get too personal. (wink!)

    A peach already?! How did that happen? Gotta love the "ate too much" look...it sticks around for a while. ha ha I wonder what fruit-size my baby is now. Small (hopefully) watermelon? Large spaghetti squash? You'll have to let me know. And you're so right...when it's your own baby, everything is fascinating and amazing and you just want all the information you can gather! I'm so happy for you! Let's talk pregnancy!! ;)

    and HELLOOOO! why are you so perfect?! you always have the best tops! i can't wait for you to take me shopping and help me revamp my warddrobe. you're so hot all the time.

    congratulations!!! 13 weeks! Enjoy your pregnancy, hopefully it will be the easy one. I am currently 23 weeks, and expecting a baby girl on November 12!

    I still find it all fascinating and amazing! I can't wait to follow along with your adventure and compare notes. I hated being pregnant, but look back on it with warm feelings because I got the most amazing gift at the end. Women's bodies are truly amazing and I'm so excited for you to experience it! You grow an entire human being in your body. And if that isn't amazing enough, if you decide to nurse, you then sustain an entire human life with just your body for at least 6 months! That is pure craziness in the most beautiful way!

    Awwwww, SO exciting! Babies bring so much joy into your life! We have a 2 1/2 yr old and just had twin girls 7 weeks ago, and it's amazing! I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy and enjoy the miracle to growing a precious baby in your body...it's so amazing when you can start to feel the baby move! And I have no doubt that you will be an absolutely gorgeous pregnant momma!
