there's nothing quite like waking up in the wee hours of the morning to pick blueberries. my mama and her sisters are quite the gatherers, and each filled up three buckets or more. i only filled up one bucket, and paid $15 for 10 pounds of blueberries! once the sun came up you could find me hiding in the shade eating blueberries for breakfast. i don't think i'd make a very good indian! we picked two types of blueberries. one is sweet and one is sour. the sour ones are amazing! check out that fat blueberry i found! i have enough blueberries to last for the rest of the year. anybody have good recipes? i need fresh ideas!
ah how fun i love doing this at aunt yos. look delicious! you took some home right mess? make pancakes and put it on yogurt and stuff!!

ReplyDeleteYou need to do what I do...wait for your mom to deliver some of these beauties right to my door. No sweating in the hot sun but still get to eat the yumminess. ;) Although the experience does look lovely!
