my birthday

this year our birthday was awesome! we woke up to pancakes in bed by lisa's sweet hubby chase. we hit up a few beaches in the morning and i saw a cute little turtle. i tried poke for lunch since lisa is obsessed, but i'm not a huge fan of raw fish. i ended up eating a delicious pastrami melt from tita's. we even got free cake! what a coincidence they were giving away free cake on our birthday.

that night we had a bonfire at the beach and lisa invited some of her friends. everybody brought their own food and we had s'mores until the rain came down. my foil dinner was a bit sandy, but food always tastes better outside. after the party we went home to eat some cake!

birthdays with my sisters are always better together than apart. it is fun sending gifts to each other, but it is even more fun seeing their face light up when they open them. i think i'm the only one who remembered to make a wish when we blew out the candles, and i hope it comes true. we had a very happy birthday!
