caribbean cruise highlights

remember our cruise in march? we had an amazing time! we miss the ocean already, and i miss my tan. 

it was great to get away in the dead of winter for some fun in the sun!

the cruise was awesome. it was easy, relaxing, and had delicious food. we both decided we prefer a more personal and authentic take on traveling, but did enjoy getting a warm shower every day! we met some neat people on the ship and i finally read a book!

 we loved puerto rico! especially rincon. we could easily live there. it is beautiful just like hawaii, culturally similar to latin america, and has the comforts of america. we surfed, we ate, and we spent every second on the beach! es la vida.

we spent the whole day at magen's bay in saint thomas. the water was beautiful and we all got some sun! it felt so good just to fall asleep on the beach again. oh how we missed the ocean. we need the ocean in our life. saint thomas was lovely.

i held an adorable baby monkey in saint kitts. he was the cutest little guy! he even wore a tiny diaper. we walked around the island for miles because we honestly didn't know what to do. we never found a beach, but we did see some beautiful things.

aruba was awesome! i could not stop singing the beach boys. it was just a happy place to be. we went parasailing and i have never heard drew laugh so hard or me scream so loud. it was hilariously scary. check out our gopro video!

curacao was so pretty and colorful. we stopped at a few sites and then headed to the beach. it was our last stop on the cruise so we enjoyed every second we could in the ocean. it was the perfect ending to our caribbean vacation!
