our christmas letter

 hello family and friends!

this year has been a good one. we started 2011 in paradise! life was easy in oahu, hawaii. new years resolutions were off to a good start when we got to run along shorelines and palm trees. notice i said good start, we were only there four months. four months of surfing everyday and exploring the island like local tourists. it was da life.

we even got to travel the world a bit and visited the philippines, hong kong, and china. mostly for business, but we had some fun too! i checked off "ride a camel" on my bucket list and drew ate chicken feet.

once spring rolled around, we headed back to idaho. idaho is where real life began. drew is still running his online business root cases among other business ideas. i have discovered my passion for creating and sell accessories online at my etsy shop meggie's love. we have really grown to love boise and enjoy being near family.

this year jimmy stumbled into my birthday girl arms and made us a family. he is our best friend cocker spaniel, an eight year old pup saved from a neglectful situation. i didn't think life could get much better until we purchased a vw westfalia we call sunset. many fun adventures were had, and several road trips to oregon and california. 

then the leaves started to change color, and the holidays made time fly. we have played with friends, reunited with siblings, and even dressed up as joseph and mary in our church play. i think it's because drew has real long hair and a beard. until recently that is. it's a christmas miracle!
