yesterday we went on a walk by the boise river with jimmy. we explored the waterfront district and ate some free chili.
then we went to the flea market and gun show. drew bought a gun and now he thinks he is james bond. he did buy the same gun james bond has, so i guess that counts.
while drew was playing toy guns, i explored booths full of antiques and vintage items at the flea market. it's amazing what people keep. i asked several vendors if they sell online. they all said no. seriously? maybe it's their generation, but if i sat down for six months crocheting a quilt i wouldn't give it away for $50.
so drew got a vintage gun and i got gemstone earrings ($1), a zz top record ($4), and an amazing 1960s dress ($24) that i adore.
later we watched the bsu game with my family in caldwell and well, we all know how that went.
ps- if you like my jumper, i got it here. it's real fun and handmade!
