i was worried we wouldn't make it before sunset, but we had just enough time to pick out our pumpkins before dark.
it was a chilly evening so we sipped hot cocoa and apple cider to keep warm.
drew ate a fried corn dog that gave him terrible heart burn.
and we walked away with our perfectly round chosen pumpkins.
we have a week to carve pumpkins, make holiday treats, go to a haunted house, figure out a costume for jimmy, and make some friends so we can go to a dang halloween party.

We went to a pumpkin place tonight, too. Not a patch, just a place. It was swell. We also carved pumpkins; we even carved a baby pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteWe also went to a Pumpkin patch. Also had a petting zoo, a kiddie straw maze, and other misc treats and trinkets for sale. LOTS of fun! Meg, when you come you can see Harper's costume...cutest ever.
ReplyDeleteMe and the boyfriend did just that when I went home last... so fun! We even got a free hay ride, I'm pretty sure I was more excited than half of the kids in that ride hehehe
