We made it home safely from China and are happy to be back in Hawaii! We slept 16 hours last night and didn't wake up until 3:30 this afternoon! Crazy, right? Talk about serious jet lag. But, it was awesome to be able to visit the Philippines, Hong Kong and China. Each city we went to was unique in smell, landscape, food, language, people, currency, transportation, and all that good cultural stuff. The main thing each city had in common was the population---millions of people! We didn't get to see the "traditional" China you might imagine with rice patties, pointy hats and bearded old fortune tellers. Instead, the city offers theme parks and lots of shopping.
