Guess what came in the mail today?!
After another lovely day at the beach I came home to find out my peppermint ear muffs got featured in Tiger Beat magazine! Who knew that hours spent on the couch over Thanksgiving break crocheting my made up pattern of candy ear muffs would be seen by millions of people? Not me. I remember after I finally finished making my first pair of these everybody thought they were funny, although creative. When I sent a picture to my sister Kylie she immediately knew they were something special. She was right... they also caught the eye of the offices at Tiger Beat and BOP magazines.
I gave away two free pairs of my muffs to the magazine, and apparently they were a big hit. There's still one pair in the shop here!
Tiffany Tse was really nice to work with and left me this sweet note. It would be awesome to be able to do something like this again, and get more people to my shop!
I'm having a lot of fun developing this talent and am so happy I get to share it with so many others as well. I also decided starting this year that I will do monthly giveaways so stay updated on my Facebook page!
