Girls

Drew comes home from Chicago today. He has been really busy so I haven't heard from him as much as I'd like. But the fun thing about being apart is seeing each other again. I can't wait until he comes home!

This is the coolest bean I have ever seen. 

Drew even got to go to a Chicago Bulls game! I thought he was joking.  

In the meantime, I was having fun too! I got to hang out with my girlfriends! It was so fun visiting my friends just to be with them. I realized I don't really do that when hub is around. Last night we had a girls night out, me, Katie and India. We went to Marsh Valley, where Katie grew up, and watched a play and visited Katie's family. They were so sweet and her mama made us brownies. We got to play with their adorable little kitties and we were in love! It was so nice to spend time with girls and talk about everything, completely freely. We even spent the night at Katie's again because India's husband Shane is Drew's business partner and was also in Chicago. We don't like to be alone at night, so we were there for each other.

Before I was married I never really spent much time with girls. I was always better friends with boys. But now that I'm married, I realize how nice it is to have good girl time with friends you love and care about. It just blows that right when I'm starting to really appreciate girlfriends I will have to say goodbye and move far away. I hope I can keep these friendships for a long long time.
