It started out with making hemp necklaces, then croucheting, and now cooking AND sewing! I've even suprised myself how much fun I have creating things. It feels so good to wear or own something I made myself!

I wanted to crochet a head band with a flower so I watched a video on youtube how to crouchet a flower and this is what I ended up with!

Thanks to my homemaking class, I now have a way cute apron I made out of Drew's old jeans! I kiss better than I cook!
And I made a pillow with Drew's favorite Led Zeppelin song, Since I've Been Loving You, embroidered on it. You should see Drew's seductive dance to this song, it's hilarious!I'm really glad I am learning how to do these things I didn't have the desire or patience to when I was in high school with an amazingly talented mother willing to teach. It really makes me grateful for my mom and the hours she spent sewing jackets before our high school dances so we could be modest. Thank you ma, sewing is not easy!
Click on this video link and you will be inspired to create things yourself, I love it!
