I LOVE HAWAII 

My first trip completely on my own I'd say was a success, despite a little bit of airport confusion! Landing in Honolulu being greeted by my brown sissy, pink flowers, and a warm breeze couldn't have been more perfect! The ocean is blue as the sky is blue, and warm too! You're never alone at the beach, little and big crabbies are everywhere digging holes and running sideways.

"When in Rome."

A flower over your left ear means you're married in Hawaii.

Ky gave me a tour of the small BYU-Hawaii campus and I think this place is perfect for her! I loved walking around being surrounded by different cultures and ethnicities and hearing all sorts of funky languages. This little town of Laie suits Kylie and Spencer, the beach and each other is all they need to be happy! China really prepared them to live simply and they are so selfless, 

I LOVE KY AND SPENCE!

I enjoyed my beach time just a little too much and got severely sun burned. As each hour passed it got worse, with blisters appearing on my cheeks, lips, and chin! Owee! Doing all there is to do to heal a sun burn, plus a priesthood blessing from Spence, with patience I was able to heal slowly but surely-- enough for me to still have fun! 

I didn't realize how much I loved turtles until we went to Turtle Bay. 

I heart turtles.

I had to get a picture with a VW we saw at North Shore for Drewy! I promise you we will have one someday when we're rich.

One of my favorite things about Hawaii is how they say, "Aloha!" at the pulpit, and then the congregation answers back, "Aloha!" It was so cool it gave me the warm fuzzies.

This beach was perfect for my skin conditions, cool and breezy!

I have a few more days left in Hawaii and will be sad to leave but excited to see my hub and hear about his China trip. We're planning on going snorkeling and having a beach BBQ soon so keep your eyes open!
