For FHE we made plates! Much thought went into making these plates, we drew some of our favorite things. Drew loves VW busses, Led Zeppelin (the feather is Robert Plant's symbol for those of you who don't know), and the ocean. Mine has three little birds, not only like the Bob Marley song, but the three little birds are me and my sissies! I wouldn't be the same without them, I love you Ky and Lissy!
Just the other day Drew and I watched Waynes World and I realised that's where he got one of his favorite pick up lines, "If you were president you'd be Baberaham Lincoln!" As well as his tendancy to refer to women as babe or fox. I forgot how funny that movie is.
Drew is really enjoying his new jobs, he gets to spend more time with me and do what he loves! My job is yet to come, but we were thinking about looking for a therapist or some place I can work for free to get a better feel of what I want to do with psychology. Right now I'm reading a book written by a stress consultant that I love, I wouldn't mind learning more about that! He's one smart man! One of my favorite things he has written is when he states how so many people in the world are searching for happiness or thinking life could be different, when in reality, happiness is the way and we need to stop thinking about what we don't have and be thankful for what we do have! Such wisdom in such simple advice I think. But.... if all else fails with psychology I have recently changed my minor to photography, I've been wanting to do that for a while and it's a new minor at BYUI now. If I get any good at photography, I can start my own business or team up with my amazingly talented sis Kylie!
My family has a bunch of plates that we decorated when I was really little. They're funny to look at now! Like one I did when I was 4 or 5 was, supposedly, an M&M with glasses, holding rocks. Yeah. Talk about a vivid imagination! lol.

ReplyDeleteYOU WILL LOVE THE PHOTOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT. Seriously. The professor's are awesome. I seriously love going to class every day. It's so fun. AWW FUN we should take a photography class in the fall together! That would be fun. Or at least go and take pictures together.
